Sacred Spaces for
Every Season of Life

From weekend retreats to final passage,
Alexandria offers places of profound peace.

The sanctuary is not a building—it is a landscape. Nestled on the slopes of Palgongsan mountain, our spaces emerge from the terrain itself: caves carved by millennia of wind and water, gardens that follow the natural contours, and buildings that whisper rather than shout.

Whether you come for three days or three years, the mountain will be your teacher. The silence will speak what words cannot.

Palgongsan

The "Mountain of Eight Merits" has been sacred ground for over 1,500 years. Its caves sheltered the first Buddhist monks to arrive in Korea. Its slopes hold dozens of temples and hermitages. The mountain does not merely host Alexandria—it teaches us.

From our sanctuary, you can walk to ancient temple sites, meditate by waterfalls, or simply sit and watch the mist rise through the pines. The mountain is not separate from the practice—it is the practice.
